My husband and I bought this set for our oldest son's 9th birthday present. He was so excited when he opened the box! We set it up immediately and had hours of fun! Our 4 year old even got in on the action. This is a great set for families and I highly recommend it! Side note: Lay the net down when there is a strong wind coming or rain. Also, it wouldn't hurt to get some extra birdies or rackets, dependent on how much you plan on playing and how many players you'll have. Then just simply have fun and enjoy! :)
The set came with a case but the items were all plastic or soft alumnium. It's disposable and inexpensive.
